Stephen has recently graduated from Middlesex University in Traditional Chinese Medicine. His ambition has been to practice the skills he aquired and start his own business in Massage, Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. So he has started a company called Paeon Remedial Therapies.
As I had completed my degree, many years ago, in Botany and Zoology, initially I was fairly cautious about “Traditional Chinese Medicine” and alternative therapies. It was when I suffered a frozen shoulder a couple of years ago and Stephen persuaded me to have treatment with him (“to help his training”) that I became much more open to the idea of the use of acupuncture. My GP had offered me either steroids, which could have affected my diabetic control, or strong analgesics with side effects. The treatment from Stephen restored pain-free movement in two weeks. The only side effect was conversion to acupuncture!
I have been surprised at the range of conditions that seem to be helped by use of the alternative therapies that Stephen can offer. For many people their long term aches & pains seem to respond well to the treatment offered and they have gained relief from their problems.
There are conditions that need conventional treatment but where acupuncture has been used alongside normal treatment, enhanced results seem to be the order of the day.
There are sceptics out there but I can only report what I have observed and experienced. If you have a problem that doesn't seem to be solved by normal means, then I would suggest that you at least consider a visit to a practitioner who is a member of the British Acupuncture Council, it may be just the thing to cure your ills.
